In this design proposal, an ancient oil mill is transformed into a restorative recharging hub with the help of water and its beneficial qualities to promote wellness and restore and prevent burnout between junior blue light workes working within the Fire Services, NHS and Police departments.

LUMI ELEGER is a burnout prevention center designed as an architectural filter, exploiting the natural light and predictable zoning to neutralize the sensory overload, acting as a transition from the heavy psychological burdens to a weightless state of being.

The altered building will serve as a communal platform to restore both physical and psychological factors within the local environment, to further protect the new generations of blue light
operatives and providing them clarity and resilience needed to sustain their roles.
